Uncle Beer, thank you for the clarification. Again, please forgive my strong reaction to such heartless and juvenile behavior. If you review my posts, you’ll find that I try to keep any off content outside the BBQ Pit to an absolute minimum. Contrary to many peoples’ opinion, I am human. There are things that can temporarily blind me when I encounter them. Belittling someone’s open grief, especially when they are most vulnerable is one of them.
I think that DC has made it quite apparent that he is neither contrite nor repentant for what he has done. I almost wish I could say the same, but I can’t and won’t because I do my best to be an honest person here.
PS: alice, please realize that DC has no naughty bits. That’s why he’s in such a state of suspended maturation.
The scary thing is, DC fits the sociopath profile to a “T” – sort of makes one wonder about unsolved murders in Idaho. :eek:

I mean, cracking jokes at the expense of others makes you an asshole, but I’m not sure it makes you a sociopath. Do you have other threads in mind?
His comments imply that he’s been cruel to animals. That’s one of the traits most, if not all, sociopaths share, according to a lot of literature out there (sorry, I don’t know how to link).

They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They dominate and humiliate their victims.
But then the writer goes on to say sociopaths usually “appear apparently normal” - so that lets you off the hook, DC .
