Drew Carey and Craig Ferguson have announced they will be hosting each other’s shows on April 1. Ferguson will assume hosting duties on the Price Is Right and Carey will take over the Late, Late Show that evening. Carey’s guests will be Carl Reiner, writer Connie Shultz, and Joan Jett. Ferguson, meanwhile, will bring along robot Geoff Peterson and the pantomime horse Secretariat.
You need a dentist like mine, with a T.V. in every exam room. You’d be amazed how much easier it is to have dental work done while you’re watching a show you enjoy.
I met my dentist installing the TV sets in the ceiling above his chairs. There are also headphone jacks for each TV.
The joke I make about it is, if you’re laying there, headphones on, nitrous mask on…anything happening below your nose is like war in some far off country. You know it’s probably bloody and awful, but you just can’t get all worked up about it.
Personally, I think it would be much better if Wavy, Sid, and Brian all hosted The Price Is Right, while Mimi, Louis and Oswald all hosted The Late Late Show.
This specific one hasn’t been done before, but it sounds like other ABC hosts have done the same thing. I really enjoy Carey and Ferguson’s friendship. They crack each other up whenever they’re together. Now, if they say they’re swapping jobs permanently on the 1st - that’s an April Fool’s prank.
