Ah bollox I just found out yesterday that I’d already got tickets to see Paul McKenna at Vicar St. on that evening. Maybe I can come for a starter & a pint, then go to the theatre afterwards?

I have just been found out that I have to be in Manchester next Thursday and my flight back is not until 6pm on Friday, 11th.
Sorry about that, but if dinner is due to be at 7pm in the city, I won’t be able to make it.

I say we ring Tante Zoe’s and cuss out when they’ll be hassleing us to leave. If it’s around 8:30 I can live with that. Eat, leave, then get drunk

Would it be better to move ‘The Big Event’ to Saturday night? I dunno, it’s all up to you, but if three of the eight can’t come on the Saturday and the rest of us are free, we could change it, and dine earlier (in time to get the early bird stuff). We could still meet up on Friday night, too, if you like (I’d like to, otherwise, I’ll have to go to MotherinLaw’s for interrogation- I mean- dinner.
