OK so my brain is asleep.I’ve searched FAQ and it says it’s not there. How do I change my location indicator in the top right of my posts?

User CP->Edit Profile
You can choose to enter some biographical information that displays with your posts. Or not. It’s up to you. Please don’t post real life information or anything you wouldn’t be comfortable with if it was on a billboard on your house. (With big blinking lights.)
As this is a user function, it’s operated from the User Control Panel. Click on “User CP” in the blue band on most every SDMB page. User CP is the first entry on the far left side in the band. Then click on “Edit Profile” and fill in accordingly. Click on “Save Changes” and you’re good to go.

While it might be a bit tacky, I hardly think that a flashing billboard on top of your house listing your location would be a breach of privacy :).
Neither Blackbeard nor Captain Blood would ever be accused of being tacky, they might have their ships tack but that some thing different and… oh. wait. [sub]You said “privacy”, not “piracy”, huh?[/sub]
