DVDs you want released

A complete Jay Ward box set; with Rocky & Bullwinkle, Crusader Rabbit, the Captain Crunch ads, and whatever else they can find.

A complete Warner Brothers cartoon box set; I think there was a fairly complete set released on Laser Disc. Rerelease it.

The full fifteen and a half hour version of Berlin Alexanderplatz, on one disc with loads of extras!

Seriously though, I would max out my credit cards for an Amazing Colossal MST3K DVD Set with every episode…

Great call on Joe vs. The Volcano, SuperNelson. I love that movie.

And Little Nemo’s suggestion reminded me of [url=“http://www.yesterdayland.com/popopedia/shows/saturday/sa1184.php”]Roger Ramjet**. What I wouldn’t give to have that series, all one year of it, on DVD. Okay, so I wouldn’t give more than $29.95.

Fandango
The Beast
Koyaanasquatsi

As a robot geek, I’ll vote for the complete collection of Mighty Orbots.

With an option to turn off the Narrator’s bits.

Thanks for the heads up. You made my day.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Clash of the Titans

::sigh:: someday soon, it will be…

If… and Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes (specifically “Pod People” and “Manos: The Hands of Fate”).

“Miller’s Crossing” is fantastic. I understand it’s being released in the spring of 02’…can’t find the link right this second.

“Quick Change” with Bill Murray

“J-Men Forever” by Firesign Theatre

Oh yeah, I’ll second that Zep request “Live at Earl’s Court” but I’d rather see their 1970 show “Royal Albert Hall” concert!

Check this out! Scroll down about 2/3 and you will get half of your wish! I’ve already ordered mine.

“Top Secret”
“Hot Shots”
and “Hot Shots: Part Deux”

Why, yes, I am a geek.

Let’s see, my list would be:

Miller’s Crossing
Miller’s Crossing
Miller’s Crossing
[i}MST3K: Master Ninja I & II*
Miller’s Crossing
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Seasons 1 and 2
Miller’s Crossing
MST3K: Godzilla vs. Megalon
MST3K: Fire Maidens from Outer Space
Miller’s Crossing
and
Miller’s Crossing

And by the way, I hate Smashmouth.

Blazing Saddles Special Edition

In some weird alternate universe crossover the TV version has more scenes then the video release. Mostly extra Mongo gags and a jewel with Brooks and some reporters.

IMHO, its still the funniest movie ever made.

Movies:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and 3 to complete my set, with better extras than were on the first one.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The Mack

TV Shows:
Salute Your Shorts and all other Nickelodeon shows from the early 90’s(Hey Dude, Wild and Crazy Kids, Nick Arcade, etc.)
Family Guy
X-Men(the original cartoon from the early 90’s)
Spider-Man(also, the cartoon from the early 90’s)
He-Man: Masters of the Universe
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(these most of all, the cartoon. Ah, my youth…)

When I first opened this thread, I thought UHF! As the video is not available on Amazaon (out of circulation), this is excellent news! Go to eBay and do a search for USED VHS copies. They are going for serious bank. Good news.

Add “Mr. Show With Bob and David.” The BEST skit show ever. I just saw David Cross in concert. Reminded me of how great that show was. Comedy act was a definite B-, though.

Seinfeld complete Seasons.

Family Guy is a good choice.

Larry Sanders Show.

Indy and Star Wars, of course.

V and V the Final Battle. (Eh, throw in the cheesy series too).

I didn’t think of cartoons (FG aside).

Ducktales.
Gummi Bears.
GI Joe.
Transformers.
Superfriends.

They already released “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” on DVD, unfortunately it was one of the early DVD releases and didn’t have any extras. :frowning:

Flash Gordon (The Cartoon Series) with a easter egg showing them cooking and eating that pink dragon from the second season.

V

Ahhh… Babylon 5… gimmmeee gimmmeeee!!!
<sigh> Waiting… waiting…

On other titles, isn’t the coding vs. availability odd for some titles? Buffy season 1 & 2 have been available in zone 2 first and then zone 4 for quite some time. Season 3 just got released for zone 2 (and Angel 1 is pending) and nada for zone 1. What gives?!

<aside> Fortunately I get to live somewhere that thinks coding is bad and evil and a restraint of trade – although we haven’t gone quite as far as the Ozzies who seem to be considering suing the studios on unfair trade grounds – and virtually all DVD players here are multi-zone. Bwwwaaahhhhaaahhhhhaaaa!

Think I’ll go home and re-watch my Buffy season 2 discs. :stuck_out_tongue:
