Is everyone waiting for the official results from AP to celebrate? I feel like I’m the only one feeling hopeful here. Or maybe I missed the party.

Old-line media sources probably want to at least see Ossoff’s lead surpass the automatic recount threshhold (0.5%). Right now, Ossoff has 50.1932% of the vote (2,211,603 out of 4,406,181). Once he surpasses 50.25%, the election will more likely be called.
