Not just for when they were president, but life-time. Personally, I think he’s just being super-cautious. How could working for the KGB before the dissolution of the USSR possibly trigger any personal liability?
Given their logo this would also be appropriate…
Do you have a reputable cite for Putin’s health status and his plans to resign? I’ve read the same in a link from some thread here a few days ago, but it was very dubious (I think it was yahoo news), and I haven’t heard again about it on any reputable news channel.
Hmmm… I took @Max_S’s post as sarcasm. Maybe it wasn’t.
Possible, but the story originated with a British tabloid.
In the entire time Trump has been a known entity, no one has been able to do that. But I’d pay to see it happen.
Oh well, in this case nevermind and sorry.
The Sun, eh? That might settle it. Again, nevermind.
Putin also denied it - which doesn’t mean much but I think I’d actually trust Putin to tell the truth more than The Sun.
Big wedge of votes came in from AZ just now. Trump cut Biden’s lead by 146 to 11,390. But he used up 5,470 to do it which means the percentage he needed to take the state lept from 76.3% to 84.6%. There are now only 16,707 ballots left to count.
There was some tabloid thing about stepping down due to Parkinson’s recently, which everyone should take with a heap of salt. The ironic part is that Putin really is trying to push through lifetime immunity for ex-presidents of Russia. Ostensibly he really does face the prospect of litigation after he’s out of office.

For what it’s worth, I don’t see Russia getting out of being a kleptocracy soon even after a Putin resignation.
Here’s an article from the Guardian about the life-time immunity proposal:
Hey, shouldn’t those NC ballots be in right about now?

That’s interesting, and a little surprising. I don’t get the impression that judges put up with a lot of shit, but on the other hand I guess lawyers will push on whatever they can until they get some resistance. Otherwise, the lawyer is leaving something on the table if the judge would have accepted something in a gray area.
The Proud Goys.
Unless they find previously unaccounted for truckload of 50k ballots somewhere, AZ looks locked up.
Ah, how cute, nazis struggling over the question who is even more racist.
To catch up, the GOP just needs to send a few Trump-Pense vans to unload a few thousand ballots. Easy-peasy!
But they have to write “Legit Republican Ballots” with a sharpie on the vans first. In all caps and with three exclamation marks.
