LOL, I was just in the right place at the right time, sat with my laptop in front of the tee vee when they called it. And yes – hooray!!! 
So did the New York Times, which is all I required…
CNN just did as well. Fox (along with AP) called Arizona a long time ago, probably prematurely, but turned out to be right. CNN and Fox now both have Biden at 290.
Add NBC to that list.

Will there be an Arizona recount?
Nope.
Arizona doesn’t allow candidates to demand recounts. Automatic recounts are triggered when the difference in votes reaches a much smaller discrepancy. Someone around here interpreted it as 200 votes, and someone else interpreted it as 3,400. But we’re not in striking distance of either figure.
IOW, this is it.
Apparently this is the first time Arizona has gone blue since 1996.

@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews!
He may have meant ‘the goose that lays the golden eggs’, but Golden Goose sounds better.
I think Murdoch has realized that his goose has turned into a turkey, and Thanksgiving is near!
This is mildly interesting. Could Trump lure Hannity or Carlson from Fox? Would they dare go, knowing that all things Trump end up insolvent? Maybe we could bury all of them in one swoop.
I wonder if they did it on purpose so they don’t have to make BS claims in court.
This will surely be the thing that informs their decision. Both of those dolts surely realize Trump is not trustworthy when it comes to money matters. Even if he offers them the moon and the stars, I don’t see either of them going to this (so far) imaginary news network.
He can’t sue to get it to court and eventually the Supreme Court? Even if it’s futile, it will just make everything take longer.

I thought Trump was more of a camel’s asshole than a goose, but never mind. The thought process here is interesting. He believes that, having graced Fox News with his esteemed presence and phone calls, and praised their mendacity while condemning real media as “fake news”, a quid pro quo is required. That being, that Fox News must never report actual news (or must lie about it) if it is not favorable to Trump. Even news about presidential election results. Nothing favorable to Biden is permitted to be reported. As Mary Trump might say, the man doesn’t even understand the meaning of the word “truth”, or, by extension, the meaning of reality if such reality doesn’t conform to his toddler wishes. It’s astounding that millions of Americans voted for this dangerous psychopath, and are protesting in the streets on his behalf because they don’t like how democracy turned out.
The orange toddler’s raging tantrum, now completely out of control, has basically declared war on Fox News, and thus on everybody in it including those who sign Hannity and Carlson’s paychecks. He’s shown his willingness to dump them like a soiled dishrag. This doesn’t exactly inspire loyalty. No one has ever really been loyal to Trump, but many have supported and defended him out of unprincipled self-interest and craven fear.
That’s exactly how it broke for Trump last time, although after two faithless Trump electors and five Clinton ones the end tally was 304-227. And he did of course describe it in glowing terms.

Mary Trump describes why she doesn’t think Trump will run in 2024:
It’s very short and worth a look.
One reason she gives is that he’ll have to spend four years essentially “playing a supporting role”, which I don’t agree with. Given that he’s lost, the best option for his psychopathic narcissism is to try to stay relevant by keeping the rallies going, and dividing his time between that and being the head honcho or main star of a sympathetic news network like OAN or his own. Fox News is citing aides that say he’s increasingly determined to run again in 2024, but Mary believes they’re just trying to assuage the toddler’s ego.
Her other reasons I tend to agree with. His enormous ego could not tolerate yet another loss, so I think much will depend on what the political landscape and polling looks like. And he’ll have competition in the primaries, including many people who are not insane, at least in the Republican context (and much younger).
She also points out that by then he’ll be around Biden’s age now, but very unhealthy and with mental problems. Plus, he may be facing a world of legal troubles. It totally wouldn’t surprise me if he does end up in Moscow.

I wonder how much donation money he’ll manage to siphon off of the GOP in the next four years. There’s no way that he walks away from the mailing lists and donors that his campaign has developed, and there’s no way he spends his own money on the rallies and traveling he’s become so accustomed to. Plus, there are no doubt a great many supporters who will be happy to help him fight the ‘deep state’ lawsuits that will begin piling up as soon as he leaves office.
He can start charging admission for his rallies. Probably would work for a while. It’ll let him continue to screw over his base while they praise him for it.
