Election Day [Week][Month[s]] [Year] 2020 follow-along thread

Who is this Biden character? The ballots have two choices, Trump and Not Trump.

Very little of Pennsy has reached a significant count. Nate Cohn is full of shit whoever he is.

Now, now. He’s good at folk tunes but not as good with plagal cadences as the evangelicals would like.

Trumbull County is in Ohio. I know that because that’s where I lived for my first 18 years. Doesn’t surprise me that people there would vote for Trump.

CNN is basically talking like this thing is already over.

Sure. You can hope for that.

I don’t think you and I are watching the same CNN.

I’m not surprised Biden is awful. He’s been likened to a cashew (seriously funny video Vote! (For Joe Biden (Who Sucks!)) - SOME MORE NEWS - YouTube). But compared to Trump. Like the choice is a cashew or poison. And people are like… cashews are a boring nut, and at least I know the poison will kill me.

Or this CollegeHumor video of a choice between a surgeon and a clown… to do surgery. What Undecided Voters Look Like To Everyone Else - YouTube

Anyway, the videos are funny. Although perhaps a bit sad if in fact Trump wins. So ummm laugh while you can?

He’s looking at a county that has counted almost all its votes. (And he’s the elections guru at the NYT.)

They just got done saying how it wasn’t over.

CNN gives NM to Biden.

“Yeah he may be boring and uninspiring and weak and lame and totally unappealing, but he’s not Trump.” 2016 called, they want their hell back.

Understood, but apparently nobody else better. I think Dems have an identity crisis, stuck between white suburban centrism and urban multiethnic progressivism. We need another Obama.

But it is one county in a state that is under 40% counted. Too soon to panic.

CNN says Biden. wins NM.

It’s 94-72, Biden.

Well, at least if this is a simulation, we’re probably in the worst possible configuration…stupid random seed.

So you don’t think that PA will be the likeliest decider?

Just heard from some guy on MSNBC who I have never heard of, but he says the key county for Biden in Wisconsin will not report until 5 am

Well whatever happens, AOC will still be around driving Republicans nuts.

Biden ran in 2008, and along with a bunch of other guys, quit after Iowa. This is pretty normal, and in fact, it got him the Veep job, so he came out much better than expected.

So far, it looks like Biden is holding his own.
