Now I just learned that former Kansas AG, Phil Kline, who lost his law license because of his anti-abortion zeal, is on the Trump team. Another top legal expert to join the Rudy mind-meld.
And you’ll find it right after OJ hunts down the real killer!
Then again, there is a good fraction of the reality-impaired who believe that we did find WMD in Iraq. I suspect that fraction has a strong overlap with people who thing there was obvious proof of voter fraud in this election.
I think they found two, count 'em 2 votes in one state.
But you see if they said NO fraud, the maga hat wearers and the pedantic jerks would jump all over them pointing to those two votes.
They found them you know. Shells and warheads left over from Desert Storm, buried and rusting, hidden in the desert, far more dangerous to the environment than as weapons. But Blix and the UN knew such things were unaccounted for, but they couldnt find them.
My current fantasy is that Trump gives himself a full pardon for anything he did while he was in office. Then, in a year or so, he looks at that campaign war chest and tries to divert some of it for paying off his debts, paying off his pre-nup with Melania, or whatever. Not realizing that his self-pardon didn’t extend to crimes after the fact, he gets nailed for campaign finance violations and goes to jail.
There’s that ol’ passive voice again. WHO is going to nail him?? Hmmm??
If you say, Biden’s new Attorney General, then I approve that message. And drink to it.
My friend(on parler, of course) just wrote this:
See, they can’t take it. Their whole world is collapsing.
Looks like someone bought a pardon and got caught.
Aha. Got it. I missed that the first time.
Barr is clearly jumping off the train. That’s why he vanished weeks ago.
I think it would be better to get fired in the final two months than ride it out.
I’m sure he doesn’t need the salary.
Can anyone contribute to a catalogue of all the fraud cases so far?
I got into a debate before the election with my BIL when I told him there were 4 fraud cases in 2016 and “they were almost all republicans who did it.” He was indignant that it could possibly be true, there’s lots more than that and on both sides. So I double checked–1 was someone “testing the system by voting twice,” two were older people who messed up/wanted to cast for their dead spouse, and I don’t recall the third.
I’ve heard so many stories about affidavits and recanted testimonies and complete bullshit that I don’t know what has really been found in this election.
I’m not sure exactly what you are asking for. The cases that have been filed come in 3 main flavors:
-
Process cases. This is things like the one in PA that challenges all of the mail-in ballots because they didn’t follow the right rules when passing the laws that allowed them. They also include things like ballot curing, missing address information, etc. Things where the claim isn’t that a vote was fraudulent but that it was invalid.
-
Minor fraud. This would include various claims about relatively small-scale issues like “Sharpie-gate” in Arizona. None of these cases have made any ground, but I believe there was one that did confirm a few votes were thrown out that should not have been (however the ruling ended up being moot as it was far lower than the margin). These cases aren’t generally being pursued since they won’t be enough to change the result. But if you really dug around I’m sure you could find a few hundred votes in each state that were truly fraudulent (voting for senile relatives, submitted absentee ballots for someone else, voting in the wrong state or even in two states). I have no reason to believe it would be slanted towards any particular party.
-
Accusations of major fraud. These range from borderline-process questions about how many observers should be allowed or whether workers were failing to check signatures at all to batshit-crazy ones like Dominion Voting Systems has an algorithm that weights votes fractionally and the CIA had a server farm in Germany raided by Army special forces to prove it. None of these have come close to being born out under scrutiny. It’s basically impossible to pull off considering how dispersed the election apparatus is and how many people would have to be in on it.
There is a decent summary along with a table here: Post-election lawsuits related to the 2020 U.S. presidential election - Wikipedia
Honestly, about the only way to respond to the claim is “show me the court cases”. Then they will respond with “courts refuse to see the evidence” or “liberal justices” or “deep-state coverup” and then you can just smile and change the subject.

And a Georgia elections official takes on the “Have you no shame?” role:
Pollwatchers testify in Michigan about why results need to be thrown out … follow the whole thread . It’s priceless.
Tell 'em, Gabriel! We need more people to step up like this.
I love that Barr telling the truth is not one of the options - hilarious!
We need this guy in the West Wing as the token Republican. He has guts and backbone.
