It’s to hard for her to continue if she has to be nice. She’s a mean nasty person and it’s just not in her to be nice and she doesn’t want to get caught again being mean again.
I’m guessing she will miss being nasty and start being nasty to her wife and we shall see a divorce within a couple of years, a short time after JLo gets remarried and divorced yet again.

I haven’t really watched her show in a long time, though I regularly see clips of particular segments. Does it seem to anyone else that she kind of appears tired of it?
Not to be too hijacky, but I get this feeling more so from her game show. She doesn’t seem as genuinely nice as before. Sometimes she feels a little . . .impatient or something.

there are always celebs who let fame go to their head and think everyone is beneath them. Some even say you cannot talk to them unless they speak to you first. And some say don’t even look at them unless they talk to you . Seems like around 10% have this kind of attitude to “regular” people.
I read elsewhere that she felt the media coverage was coordinated and orchestrated. And Misogynistic.
I didn’t understand her comment about being a woman and that means she can’t be Misogynistic.
Just as we were believing women can be anything they want to be and everything a man is.

Plenty of other women have or had shows and nobody talks about them having a toxic environment, Judge Judy, Oprah, Kelly Clarkson, etc.
I haven’t watched her show with any regularity, but I caught a few shows several years ago. I began noticing that she took great delight when someone was embarrassed or hurt during her games (before her evening game show started). When I started paying more attention, I interpreted it as more than delight – malicious glee, perhaps? – in humiliating some of her guests. Just watch her face.
I’m all for having fun and silliness, but this was uncomfortable.

You know what gripes my ass about the Ellen Show?
“Ellen in Your Ear”, in which she puts earpieces on celebrities and has them do ridiculous pranks at retail stores.
Retail employees are not paid enough to put up with bullshit.
I’ve never seen her talk show, and I haven’t seen her do standup in years. Decades, even.
But at the start of her career, she was quite funny as a standup. Even if she did steal her whole routine from Bob Newhart.
