It became so maddening trying to have an honest debate with him, that I had to literally bite my tongue and move past his posts in order to keep my own sanity. He contradicts himself from post to post, makes declarations of having made arguments he never made, ignores anything and everything that proves him wrong and condescendingly tells everyone they should read the thread or do this or that, as if he were doing so, when in fact he’s not. It’s like going in great big circles trying to talk with him. I’ve begun to think he’s mentally retarded.

Seriously, one is convinced that Hillary Clinton is like a combination of Buddha, Jesus, and Confucius with ovaries who is being beaten down by them and the other is convinced that Barack Obama farts moonbeams and can heal lepers with a smile.

The difference is one is able to link to spectrometer analyses of Obama’s flatulence while the other has to ignore citations that show Clinton is not, in fact, Buddha.
Honestly, just because Shayna is enthusiastic doesn’t mean she’s insane. She backs her position up with cites constantly, and has for months. For some reason this goes completely unnoticed and she gets equivocated with the one who doesn’t respond to cites or otherwise reinterprets them until they say what he wants.
Remember the thread where she invited the Clinton supporters to list her major accomplishments in the Senate? She provided plenty of Obama’s, then provided those of Clinton’s where she did little more than name libraries, then asked for more from others. She got ridiculed and mocked, but nobody ever actually stepped up to her challenge.
Who cares? There are things that need to be said about Elvis that are against board rules to be said in GD.

He’s a dishonest debater. He speaks untruths and falsehoods in gun debates, forget Hillary things. He’s not stupid, he’s quite agile of thought and speech. If only he had some tangential connection to reality. He could be a Bricker or BrainGlutton.
But, well, he doesn’t seem to feel any need for facts or the truth. So he serves a valuable service, being a straw man to debate against, as he will make you find your own facts. The only good point is that whatever side he favors is generally wrong, so people don’t have to be embarrassed by teaming up with him.

RTFirefly’s recent Pitting, while it certainly read to me like the work of someone who invests too much time in a message board, was consistent in tone and scope with the message board itself. Regardless of my opinion of its origin, it FIT.
This one, on the other hand, just says, “you’re a bad poster” and moves on.
Baseless. And if there really is as big a base out there as you claim, then it shouldn’t have been that hard to refer to it.

Neither strikes me as being a tiny bit insane.
Shayna can be a bit irritating in her I-live-only-for-Barack-Obama partisan obsession, but she seems sincere, and supports a lot of her claims with objective evidence.
ElvisL1ves is just a big asshole, irrespective of the subject. He never adds anything useful to a discussion; just condescending, insulting snark. He’s the worst kind of message board poster; opinionated and stupid, insulting enough to irritate without quite getting banned.
