I have vowed not to engage him again in GD, because I simply cannot maintain the quality of courtesy necessary for GD in the face of his stone wall of a brain.
There are only two options I can imagine here. Either he is lying deliberately and shamelessly, or he is a genuine idiot. For anyone to come away with an impression that the FL/MI debacle was somehow hanging off of Obama’s unwillingness to concede any delegates to Clinton, after all the news and discussion that we and a hundred other left-wing blogs have engaged in for the last six months at least, is either stupid or disingenuous. Obama actually GAVE Clinton more delegates in Michigan than he had to…the man had the votes on the committee for a 50/50 split and decided to (attempt to) mollify Clinton by allowing her a majority.
The FL/MI sanctions were about two states who deliberately broke the rules that were set for over a year before the primaries ever began. The committee that voted to sanction those states had a majority of Clinton supporters on it. Clinton didn’t care about their votes until it looked like she was losing. She actually said, explicitly, about Michigan, “It’s clear, this election their having is not going to count for anything.”
Now, it’s somehow Obama’s fault. Not only is it somehow Obama’s fault, but according to Elvis, it’s equivalent to slavery (from this post in that same thread):

If you made an honest assessment of my participation on these boards, you would recognize that I don’t live only for Obama – I still participate in several other forums on many other topics. Nor would I call my Obama support obsessive, which is evident in the fact that I don’t even participate in every thread there is about Obama or this election.
I will tell you, however, exactly why I do participate to the extent that I do here.

He’s not a troll. He’s just a dick. He actually believes that he (and those on his side I suppose) are the only actual debaters in the forum. Everyone else is simply not intelligent enough to understand the true value of his posts. The only talent he has is skating the not quite insulting enough for a warning.
Santo, I admit, I went for the obvious shot. But I’ve also pointed out that there is a capable individual behind the tag, he just doesn’t seem to want to apply anything more than polished rhetoric to a debate, making his commentary content-free.
I am not surprised that Elvis works in a technically and intellectually demanding field. I’d love to hear him discourse on something where he actually has something to say, rather than his current field of nothing.
But yes, I do have the weakness of going for the obvious and cheap one-liner. Better now than in some serious debate later.
