Like I said, those who care already* know *exactly what the problem is. Just go see any single thread about the democratic primary. If you haven’t been reading them, then you don’t care anyway, and you’re just in here to see a fight. If you have been reading them, then you’d know that linking to all the specific examples would be too large to be encompassed in a single post.
The thread was necessary because there are things that people need/want to say that can’t be said in GD. That’s already been said in this thread, though. Looks like EL1 isn’t the only one who’s not paying attention.

It wasn’t addressed to anyone else. The title and every word in the OP were directed to ElvisL1ves, telling him he sucks, and he damn well knows why.
It was a post borne out of frustration at not being able to make such a simple declaration as that in response to any of his inanity in GD, which is constantly what one wishes they could say to him after any and every post he makes.

And those are just 2 instances where my frustration level rose to such heights. Multiply that by all the other posters participating in any GD thread he’s in, and you have a better idea of how fucking annoying he is.

Personally in GD I debate the topic the way I would in real life. I do it occasionally, when I get the chance. I make the same points. What I don’t do is:
“I’ve said why before, I’m not going to repeat”
“I’m not going to address you until you stop foaming at the mouth”
“You comment has no content”

And seriously wring don’t come in this thread without having seen why the pitting was required. You wander into this shit without knowing why it occured it only makes you look like an ass. This thread was created because of the way Elvis has been shitting over anyone who disagrees with him for the last 2000 posts. It’s always been a subtle, barely above bannable shit too. That’s where he exists. He lives on the line above bannable offenses. His debating style is SO FUCKING INSULTING that it drives you crazy. You sit there and try to get a single solid point of information from him and he won’t do it. He can’t even offer a single way that Hillary wins the nomination in a way that is beneficial to the Democratic party.
I think we’ve probably all been wanting to start a pit thread about him, but I didn’t want to be the one to have to open it. He has slowly degenerated into a string of putdowns using above-metioned conversational terrorism methods only. And he has the gall to believe that he is somehow a superior debater. A superior debater doesn’t lose the support of everyone in the discussion. If he were worth a shit then he might be able to convince at least one fucking person in the thread of his arguments just a little bit. But he can’t do that? Why? Because he has pull his dick out and show everone what a big man he is.
Seriously I wonder some times what it is he is trying to compensate for. Either he is generally filled with hate, or maybe something from his past. It’s his way of compensating for the one that got away? Who knows?

Honestly reading this list of chickenshit debate tactics really makes me feel like Elvis read the same fucking list yet forgot the part where it says NOT to use them. Why? because using them in real life makes people hate you and doesn’t get you ahead. When you use these tactics you get nowhere with anyone. They realize what you’re wrong.
Finally Santo I think it is totally fair to insinuate anything you want about Elvis in the pit. He deserves anything in my opinion.
Nobody’s cutting him slack over his attitude in political threads. That’s why this thread exists. But it’s wholly gratuitous to slam him on areas that are completely irrelevant and in which he has not, in fact, acted like a total douchebag.
