For some dammed reason, it wont accept new images as attachments.
I need to get photos from my crummy cell phone to my home computer.
Really urgent.
I need to sell my old clunker, & I can’t Craigslist a car without photos,
I cannot respond to the SDMB from work, so I can only get messages at home.
It may be my phone.
The display screen said it cannot send messages to my email address, or my brother’s.
I have a crappy old tracfone.
Can you text the photos to a better phone then email them from that phone?
If you’re desperate and can’t do anything else, take a picture of the phone screen with the photo displayed with another phone, then email from that better phone. Quality will be awful so use that as a last resort.
nope–can’t do it, as i have a nasty old lg tracfone. won’t work.
also, no hookup port for a connection to the pc.

Bosda: I’ve reported your thread for closing per your request. That’s the way to get a Mod’s attention.
Some older phones have a slot for a memory card. If so, you may be able to copy the pictures to the memory card and then take out the card and plug it into a laptop or a commercial printing station.
Tracfone has dropped 2g network support. So no more attachments, no more internet (if you had that.) All you have now are voice calls and text messages. Time for a new Tracfone.

If your phone can send emails with pix to other computers but not to your own personal computer then the problem is not in your phone.
So send the pix via email to somebody. Which you say works. Then use their computer to attach the pix to your craigslist ad.
My bet is that you’re confused about what’s really going on. Since all our advice is based on what you explain to us, not what’s really going on, I bet we’re mostly wasting our, & hence your, time.

Ah, then you only think that you have an “old” LG Tracphone. This is the LG Tracphone that I use. I really did recently lose the ability to send attachments and slooooow internet. (And I would really hate to have to replace it with one of the typical modern phones the size of the deck of an aircraft carrier with a battery life measured in milliseconds.)
