Because of abuse of this function (legitimate posters getting flooded with emails they didn’t ask for), we have been forced to turn off the “email notification – email sent to you whenever someone replies to your post” function.
We apologize to anyone that is inconvenienced by this, but we really just don’t have any choice.

This is frustrating.
I’m not on here all day; I don’t have access from work. I used to check my email when I got home from work, browse through the first page of each message board (where the unread posts mostly hang out), then carry on with whatever else I have to do.
Now I have to browse through two or three or four pages of posts to see what’s happening with the threads I’m interested in.
And, if I go from work out and don’t get home til 1 a.m. and go striaght to bed, the threads I’ve been following disappear by the time I have a chance to log on again the following night.
Isn’t there someway the email notification can be turned on or off in each individual user’s preferences?
