I’m not exactly sure, but you may have to make the “target” of your forwarding another brand, such as Hotmail or Yahoo mail.

Yahoo, Hotmail, and Altavista let you read e-mail from several accounts, but you have to set them up and check them separately, using POP. That may be what you have in mind, but I don’t know of any service that forwards mail from several accounts. I’d doubt it exists, since the forwarding would have to come from the individual accounts themselves.

Still, if what you want to do is read several accounts from one location, than most of the free e-mail services give yoiu that capabilities.

My ISP does it for nothing for an unlimited number of email address, if you have a website. Im not very clear on the question. Let’s say you have a web site purple.com.

You could use any name you want at any time & it would all come to your main email box [that you specify]. I can create new names anytime with no setup. I could give:
dork@purple.com
Ineedtoseeyou@purple.com
straightdope@purple.com

they all are sent to one box. fun.

Sounds more like a “General Questions” question to me, so off we gooooooo!

I think that’s what you are looking for: an auto-forward feature. These guys are not commercial so you get value you don’t find at the super-portals. The entire service is free, from the calendars to the greeting cards to the web hosting.

There are lots of services that do this.
One was the link I gave above your post to AltaVista

Abe’s Graffitti.net also has the forwarding option.

One advantage to AltaVista is that they have more domain names to chose from, presumably from merger wars.

OK, I signed up for Graffiti Mail, but that’s not EXACTLY what I was looking for. RealityChuck was right, I want a bunch of different email addresses (Yahoo, WLS-AM, etc.) all forwarded to one particular account. Anyone?

I don’t think that any of the free email providers offer forwarding. Many of them offer the ability to retrieve mail from POP accounts, though. And Yahoo (at least) does offer POP access to your Yahoo account. So it might be possible to get Hotmail to retrieve Yahoo mail as if it were a standard POP account.

I don’t know of any free e-mail providers that offer an automatic forwarding option. It seems unlikely you’ll find one, since they want you to visit your site.

And for it to work, you’d have to have all your e-mail addresses at providers that do provide that sort of option.

Best bet is to find one that can check multiple POP addresses and do it from there.
