Can someone tell me what happened at the end of tonight’s CSI:NY? They broke in at the end with a special news report and I never found out what happened.

OK, so I got to the part when they said the girl’s boyfriend got into the diner with roses. What happened next? Why did he do it?

I’d lost interest by the end and wasn’t totally paying attention, but IIRC, the woman victim had decided to move out of New York to get away from her drug accicted brother for once and for all. This meant she was leaving the boyfriend and taking the kids with her. He didn’t want to lose his kids. THe guy looked sad and remorseful, but he’s still quite the killer.
Oh, and then at the very end they had the blond CSI guy with glasses do the Big Preachy Speech. Kinda like if you could actually hear Horatio’s thoughts on Miami.
You know, the whole “I can’t understand it… one day you’re at work, living your life, the next someone takes it all away blah, blah, blah < insert montage of pre-death victims laughing and joking in poignant slow motion so we can truly empathize and appreciate that violence is wrong > blah, blah, blah…”
So you only really missed a tiny bit of significant stuff.
