Uhh… were you referring to her (possible) immaturity when it comes to sexual matters or are you being literal? I can’t remember anything about age in the Terms of Use, except possibly needing parental permission under the age of 13.

No prob, I just (for some reason) assumed you meant an age requirement of 18, and I know that a significant population here aren’t. I couldn’t find the terms of use when I was trying to (and there’s something wrong with me for that) but I assumed they had a 13 clause, most internet places do, but it usually involves parental consent.
Anyway! I don’t think Anubis is less than 13. I could be wrong, but…

There was considerable discussion about the issue at the time and if memory serves me correctly, parental consent isn’t the issue. The issue is whether this is a “child-appropriate” messageboard. Quite clearly, it isn’t and children under 13 should be discouraged from joining.
LaurAnge, (I love that name!), I’m pretty sure you can’t get to the terms of use except by logging out and attempting to register. This was discussed a while back, and I’m not sure it ever got fixed… it’s not your fault.

Hm, I could be wrong here, and especially wrong concerning the case of punha’s sib, but I believe there is a law that states that a minor of (or under?) thirteen years of age can not be solicited for any personal information via the Internet.
The presence of such a person on a message board that requires such information as part of the registration process would therefore be proof that the Chicago Reader violated this law and be, all things considered, a Very Bad Thing.
