Has anyone “beat” this game yet or gotten to the end?
Or if you have simply been playing for a while, has it shed any further light into understanding the movie/concept?
I’ve beaten it with both characters. The territory it covers is mostly either glazed over in the movie (i.e. you know it happens but don’t really need to know how, such as the bombing of the plant) or non-significant to the main plot. It offers a few tantalizing bits of information, though, especially regarding the Oracle. And I found Niobe and Ghost to be interesting characters in and of themselves.
How much of the plot of the game will be important to the 3rd movie, I have no idea.
Mild spoilers, I guess, but:
One of the things that disappointed me about the movie was the fact that they set up werewolves and vampires as The Merovingan’s people but then proceeded not to actually use the idea. In the game, you get to fight a ton of them.

It’s kinda funny, I felt like I was playing a “Buffy the vampire slayer” game on those levels.
In the game Ghost and Trinity refer to each other as brother and sister. From what I’ve read somewhere, they call themselves that because they were free’d into the real world the same day. Also, they have a long history together, prehaps they knew each other in the Matrix?
