Oh yes, I’ve read the latest issue of TV guide, and wanted to post about it, then couldn’t find the code for the spoiler box… well duh, it’s simple enough to figure out, I just didn’t think of it!
Anyway…
The new direction the Enterprise takes involves a new or at least previously unseen race from somewhere called the Delphic Expanse, which Vulcans explain as something akin to the Bermuda Triangle of Space. There is an attack on Earth that wipes out part of North and South America (Florida to Venezuela?), including Trip’s family and home in Florida. Enterprise is recalled to Earth, then sent out to theh Delphic Expanse … that’s how Season 2 will end. Also, they will get some non-Starfleet types along on the ship to help out with their “mission”
I’m not sure what to think… will keep an open mind, though, and see how things play out. It does sound like it’s more messing with “canonical” Trek to me, though. 
Well actually… “Bounty” is with -both- the Tellarite AND T’Panda! I just checked on the official ST site and Bounty is the one where T’Pol feels the effects of Pon Farr… which I had previously thought was only felt by male Vulcans (wow, that was a sexist thought on my part now!). And I love Phlox, so am looking forward to T’Pol and Phlox in Decon. 
[spoiler]As I said in another thread, from Florida to Venezuela is the Carribean Sea. What gets wiped out? Sharks? Flipper? Slightly lost penguins?

Maybe going into the Delphic expanse will lead to the Enterprise meeting up with Romulans in greater numbers.

Hey, v.l.twages - Yoga and Pilotes both? Good for you! I don’t like following rules, so I sort of combine the two into some weird, incoherent exercise amalgam. It’s fun!
