Now that everyone can get an instant picture of what Trekaphernalia are available nation wide at any given moment, the desperate yearning to have a certain piece “at any price” has doubtlessly diminished.

My brother has topped me for sheer geekery, though. He has a Star Trek MasterCard. And he’s not afraid to show it.
