ER and the Bible

I just noticed something looking at the cast list of ER:

Of the three title actors that have been on ER since its premier (Anthony Edwards, Noah Wyle, and Eriq La Salle), all of their characters have names of Jesus’ apostles, and specifically, have books in the New Testament (Mark, John, Peter).

Does this mean that Goran Visnjic (Dr. Luka Kovac [Luke]) has a permanent job? :D:D

Good thing that the Gospel of Doug is not recognized as a true gospel. That would have just shot your theory to hell.
