Often when I come to SDMB and other links, I get this screen (light blue):

Oops, we can’t open the web page you requested …

  • Error Unknown - Unknown error with URL

Please try the following:

Please make sure your computer is connected to internet.

If you have a network firewall installed, please make sure your firewall is not preventing Avant Browser from accessing Internet.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Continue your web browsing by searching the web below:

Then I just click on refresh and I get the correct screen. What can I do about this?

Sorry, I was burying a hampster.
I get timeout errors, both on a T1 and with my satellite inter connection.
I think there’s a lot of use.

Around 4 PM I find the connection craps out briefly. Is something getting updated then?
