Everybody Ought to Have an MMP

I’ve been mostly awake since 2:30-ish and I don’t know why. I was exhausted yesterday - I fell asleep while knitting!!! But in the wee dark hours, something in me decided that was enough sleep. I am not happy. I may stretch out on the recliner in a few and try to snooze some more.

We got a little rain last night - hope we get more today - I don’t want to be dragging the sprinklers around the yard.

That’s all I got - I’s tahred. Happy Saturday. <yawn>

Up, caffeinated, off to work. It’s drizzling, and Princess Pretty Paws refuses to poop.

One more day of irk and then I’m free. Hopefully today won’t be as drama-filled as every other day this week. Getting real tired of people who refuse to put their big kid panties on.

Y’know, I should really look into the idea of checking the MMP every day, instead of just Monday mornings and Sattidys. Trying to stay a-boobie of y’all’s updates for a whole week in one sitting is EXHAUSTING! A daily look-in (or three, or five) could be a more relaxin’ approach to Mumperhood. Hell, I might even find myself posting something other than an OP.

Regarding the question posed in said MMP, I screwed my courage to the sticking point this week, and followed your advice. That is, I sent the FB mesage to the surgeon who played the virgin, and suggested that she treat herself and her family to a cavort down memory lane. She hasn’t seen fit to respond, up to now, so I’m guessing that I registered on her Creep-O-Matic. Still, I haven’t been hit with any restraining orders, so I guess I got away with it.

Last May, while attending school in NYC, Kayla, after months of entering the daily lotteries, finally got to see Hamilton, The Musical, then in its pre-Broadway run. She was enthralled. Now, the show is actually on B’way, and last Tuesday (I think; it could have been Wednesday) NPR began streaming the cast album in advance of Friday’s release. Which Kayla bought first thing Friday morning, of course. I’ve heard the whole musical a couple of times now, and I must admit that even though I’ve never had a lot of use for hiphop/rap, this show is a remarkable work, both in its writing, and in its performances.

Didn’t get home from irk until almost 9 pm last night but I GOT A LOT OF STUFF DONE!

I Wanted to sleep in this morning but Lucky Louie still hasn’t figured out the concept of weekends. He wanted me up so we could go to irk. I took him out and now we are back in bed.

My house is a mess cause my housekeeper is out of commission so I suppose I will have to do housework today . I will also have to hit the grocery store at some point.

I has a blurf

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 66 Amurrkin out and foggy with a predicted high of 85 and sunny for the day. No big plans for the day. We may make a run to  Wally*World  or not.

Butters Lucky Louie is just remindin’ ya that your true purpose in life is to cater to his every whim and desire.

OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands to be fed. Then, who knows!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

**FCD **got up around 7-ish, and after we showered and dressed, we had a McBreakfast, then went to Lowe’s. Now we’re home and I need to run the vacuum, and maybe launder the sheets we stripped off the bed this morning.

What I want to do is sleep. Maybe later.

 Wally*World  has been survived. I bought some new undies. OYKW bought a pair of sneaks. Do we know how to live it up or what!

Boxers or briefs?

doggio, does that mean that you’ll have a tootsie roll waiting for you on the floor when you get home?

Eating brunch after sleeping in. I enjoyed the gathering last night. Lots of girl talk with some wine, cheese and soft drinks for those not caring to imbibe.

Happy Saturday!

Looks to be a nice day although not as sunny as it has been. It’s a nice cool 65 degrees.

My mother called this am and woke me up. She’s pissed because I never call her. She was on a trip, I never call her when she is traveling. So I have to pick a day to go see her and decide what stuff I want to take. I can even take the sun room furniture as well as the patio furniture - so I will see. I could put the patio furniture on the back deck but I don’t know if the sun room furniture could go on the front porch or not. I know the love seat can’t but I’m not sure about the bamboo stuff.
She wants to get a u-haul and load it up, which is all well and good except who is going to unload it up here?

We’ll figure something out.

I’m guessing leopard-print thong. And maybe a gold lamé thong for formal occasions.

What possible formal occasion would necessitate…no, no.
Just no.

How last season! :stuck_out_tongue:

red boxers. I got six pairs.

We went to the new little place near da cave for a quick N.O.L. We both had really good burgers and a beerverage. The place is called Roosters. This is the second time we et there and both times were really good. Hoagies will be for dindin.

I am considerin’ joinin’ OYKW for nappage.

Today has been all right so far. My sister and I went to a couple of stores, and a cat adoption event, though unfortunately we didn’t get any new cats.

We saw a guide dog booth in the mall, and there were two dogs there, presumably being trained to be guide dogs. We saw one of them try to eat a napkin that was on the floor, and so my sister scolded the dog, which got the attention of one of the handlers. While she was reprimanding the dog and getting him away form the napkin, the other dog came up from behind her and started trying to eat the napkin. It was pretty funny. The handler thanked my sister for bringing the napkin issue to her attention.

They are dog guides. Guide Dog[sup]TM[/sup] is copy written by the Seeing Eye [sup]also TM[/sup] or some one. I have this from an Offical Blind Person.

Plain white isn’t good enough for you?? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been knitting in front of Netflix. I washed a load of towels and tossed them in the dryer - they’re folded and put away. In about 40 minutes, I’ll start building a ham-onion-N.O.T. casserole for supper. Back to making hats…

It’s evidently not that diligently protected. My wife’s guide dogs graduated from Guide Dogs of the Desert, and Guide Dogs of America.

And the term is copyrighted.

Good for your sister!

In 1991, some yahoo customer at a restaurant that was running an AYCE beef ribs special tossed a couple of bones to her dog, who was lying down under our table. To her credit, Cassidy did NOT pounce on them right away, giving me an opportunity to get them out of her reach.

I shall take it up with the Official Blind Person. :dubious:
