Speaking generally, Shodan is very good at what he does. And part of what he does is distort his claims made earlier, often on a previous page of the same thread. So extensive use of the multi quote function is advised. Also, be sure to stay on message.

Actually what I do is reject attempts to mischaracterize what I said. As in this case - Kobal2 is the one distorting claims. And Colibri as well, which is unfortunate. I would have thought a mod, at least, would know that signoffs have explicitly been ruled as perfectly OK.

Like I said, we have hashed this all out before, we have a clear and explicit ruling that it is OK, and yet the various sore losers of the SDMB are whining about it yet again. 'Twas ever thus.

John Mace, Bricker and yeah I’ll say Sam Stone make points that are worth responding to. With Shodan and adaher though, addressing their posts is mostly a process of garbage disposal.
