Not quite. I quoted her mother as saying something, which turned out to be not true. Or I misunderstood her - given what happened that day, that’s entirely possible! If you look back on that thread, it’s pretty obvious that I was confused and unclear on the situation. When the dust settled and the facts were all there, they turned out to be:
She was 16 at the time
She was not mentally handicapped but rather suffering from a disorder - GID, to be precise.

He very clearly said that he thought she was 16, but the mom told him she wasn’t 15 like he thought. Why would a Mom warn an 18 year old that her daughter was OLDER than he thought? It was pretty clear at the time he shared that gem of a story, and since, that the girl was 14.

Yeah, about both of these… Reading the thread, it was clear that I was 18 and I thought she was 16. 16. Not 14, not 15, 16. That’s not just legal almost everywhere in the western world, that’s acceptable most everywhere I’ve lived.
