Eve's new book is coming out

Being as she’s not here to announce it herself, I’ll assume the honors.

Vernon and Irene Castle’s Ragtime Revolution by Eve Golden is scheduled to be released next month. If you pre-order on Amazon, you get a 5% discount. (Tell them Nemo sent you*)

This is good news for several reasons. First, we’ll finally know the truth about Vernon and Irene Castle and their ties with the Columbian drug cartels. Second, because as we all know, Eve Golden is a really good writer. And third, in the midst of her whirlwind multi-city publicity tour, she may take a moment to reflect “I wonder how the little people are doing back on that board?” and return to us.

*Because it’s fun to hear people say “Nemo who?”

Great news! I was wondering where she was.

Cool! I"m currently reading her bio of Anna Held. Got the Jean Harlow one in the to-be-read stack.

Eve’s publisher is the University Press of Kentucky. It doesn’t look like all the links are working at the moment, but its web site features a page on the book, including an author bio and interview with the author.

Congratulations, Eve!

Oh, I see how it is - Eve, eenerms, EddyTeddyFreddy, Ellen Cherry - “it’s an E thing” and a L guy like me wouldn’t understand.

E for Excellent, baby!
