peeker, you seem a really nice guy, and I’ve read some games in which you were perfectly enjoyable (like early in Evil Dead 1). So I’m begging you, please do not do to this game what you did to LotR. In fact, the moment the syllable “woot” comes to mind, please think again. It makes me stabby.
I understand that you were trying to generate conversation early on, and that’s a good thing. But you’ve been dead a couple of Days in LotR now and you still have more than twice the number of posts than any other player. About half are fluff and the other half are nearly incomprehensible. This is my first Mafia game. Can you please dial it back so that (on the off chance that I am Scum, a SK or a vigilante) I won’t want to kill you?
i’ll try. but then most likely ed or at least some soul will say i am playing differently so that is a scum tell.
and in my defense there really is a true back story and, at least in my mind, justification, if not downright encouragement, for my behavior in lotr. after it’s over i’ll fill you in.
Yes, you were so lovely in the first day or two of the first Evil Dead, peeker. That’s the peeker who doesn’t make me want to rip my own eyes out so that I don’t have to read him.
And I’ll try playing two games at once since it’s the sequel to my first mafia game ever :).
/in unless a new player wants a spot.
No problem, be advised mafia can cause sleepless nights, is dangerous if you got net access at work and consume endless hours of spent reading, drafting post and worrying (or grinning madly if scum).
A bit more realistic: the first couple of Days can be a bit crazy getting easily hundreds of posts but after that will slow down as players get killed.
A mafia Day typically lasts five normal days and the Night two normal days. The least expected contribution is a couple of posts per Day and at least one vote.
But remember there will be players out to kill you and it’s your job to find them! Or to avoid them if you draw scum ;).
I’m waffling too - I can mainly only play days, lesser so on nights and generally not much at all on weekends. And after LOTR, I should probably be paying more attention to work. Ummmm…
