actually the pms were the only part that i could keep track of.
with all the other off boards going on. trying to remember how to get to them and the changing passwords and the changing memberships were way too much for me. i mean it was typically an hour or so a day just trying to keep track of that shit.
i mean that sucker has to set a record for non main thread related interactions. i bet less than 5 percent of what actually went on was in the main thread.
When I consider everything that peeks,
Holds in perfection but a couple o’ weeks,
And this huge thread presenteth nought but leaks,
Whereon the scum in secret influence speaks.
(And yes, Normal Phase, I’m posting while drunk again. Blame your mother. I was teetotal before she came along.)
done. but you know some of you folks voting for my poor niller ass don’t make me feel real charitable at the moment.
fucking cross game shit.
[oog]shameless promotion:
for the folks who play here you really need to get to naf’s board and giraffe. it’s a different feel in all the places. giraffe is a little more laid back and naf’s board is a little more intense and serious. at least as much that serious can be ascribed to anything i do. or for that matter meeko, ed, normal, drain, natlaw, idle, naf, burby (had to put that one in there since i don’t want him getting the red ass), cookies, maha, mhaye and a whole host of others.
That, to me, says that if you were successful in retrieving the book, it didn’t matter that you had a Day or Night power–you forfeit your power as long as you have it. So, had you succeeded, you would have been able to use it during the Day, but unless your use was to put it back on the pedestal or pass it to someone else, you would not have been able to use your Night investigation. So had you “used” the book in any meaningful sense, you would have given up your investigative power.
Also, while story says that each Day and each Night you can use the book, it’s not entirely clear as to whether you can use it the Day or Night that you obtain it. He doesn’t say one way or the other.
