Has anyone here ever been on a Scum team with Peeker (or read the Scum thread afterwards)? Is he cooperative and rational with them, or is he all over the place the way he is in game threads? Is he likely to be guided by Scum consensus, or take his own route?
Yeah! We got one! Or, rather, everyone else got one while I sat around with my thumb up my ass.
Well, to be more precise, I prepared for a play, rescinded my request for a divorce and for everything put together for this week’s football pool. It’s been a hectic one. But still, woohoo for dead scum.
Don’t know if it’s too late for it to matter at all, but I do not have the book, nor have I ever had it at any time.

I was Scum with him in Super Smash Brothers (the original) where he was pretty rational on the Scum board and cooperative. Of course, he was also the one who most strongly encouraged my Gettysburg and Wikipedia rampage. :eek: That’s the only time I’ve been Scum with him as I recall.
I’ve read other Scum boards where he’s been insightful and helpful and more towards the leader side of things but by no means bossy.

In light of your claim to have been attacked, I hesitate to point the finger of suspicion at you. But, having reviewed your posts to date, I’m wondering how it is that you’ve misread both me and Romanic so badly.
You know the pair of us well, and yet you called Roman as scum, where I saw him as likely innocent. And you’ve repeatedly called my decisions into question, despite knowing how I tend to act when scum-hunting (and how often I call it correctly when arguing against the popular mood). Getting you to follow a case I made against myself was exactly how I picked you out as mafia in that vanilla game, so I’m surprised you didn’t see what I was doing here.
Can you explain what it is that’s been throwing your scumdar off?

I think, out of the whole peeker episode, that Mrs McGinty and special ed come out roses from it. The former was the first to point out the “slip”, and the second pressed it after everyone mostly ignored it the first time.
