Inspired by the comic book crossover thread, i figured it’d also be fun to make some crossover threads that would just be plain…wrong…
for example have Barney the insipid purple dinosaur meet the following fates;
Barney Vs. Jason
Barney moves into the house on 1428 Elm Street in Springwood Illinois
Barney dropped into Frank Miller’s Sin City universe, he ends up crossing Marv…
Elmer Fudd hunting boobahs and tellitubbies, and succeding
Wile E. Coyote finally catches the RoadRunner
the Borg assimilate billy-boy gates and micro$oft…and end up crashing
Kirk (famed for baffling Computers and Androids) meets up with Marvin the Manic Depressive Robot from Hitchhikers. Hilarity ensues, Does Kirk commit suicide or just beam out and warp away?
Barney takes on a the T-rex velociraptors of Jurassic Park.
Bugs Bunny vs. Batman. {I don’t give Batty a chance}
Bugs Bunny vs. The Coyote of Native American Legend {Oh wait, they are the same being aren’t they}
“Ahhh, Pismo Beach! Sun and Fun for two weeks! Heyyyyy – this ain’t Pismo Beach! I musta taken a wrong toin at Albuquoique. Where am I?”
“In the Viwwage, wabbit!”
I mentioned this in another thread a year or so ago, but I’d still like to see a Batman - Will & Grace crossover. At the time, I thought maybe **Kevin Conroy ** should play Batman, but in light of the recent movie **Christian Bale ** would serve as well. The key to this working is that Batman should (heh) be played straight. Have him there on the trail of some more-or-less realistic and not-psychotically-homicidal villain, maybe a counterfeiter or something. The cast of Will & Grace should play their roles as they normally do in the context of the show. Hilarity ensues. Grace, Karen, Will, Jack et al. are sure to be made moist by rich, handsome Bruce Wayne. Karen and Jack, at least, are also sure to lust wildly after Batman. I can easily envision wildly comedic results as Batsy tries to bring in the bad guy whilst fending off romantic overtures…and dig it if Jack decides he’s the new Robin!
Katie Holmes as Dorothy Tom Cruise as Scarecrow John Travolta as Tin Man Isaac Hayes as the Cowardly Lion Kirstie Alley as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda
“All you have to do is click your heels three times and say, There’s no place like clear, there’s no place like clear, there’s no place like clear .”
Yeah Marvin was originally called Marvin the Paranoid Android, despite having no paranoid symptoms but many many depressed symptoms. Probably a description that would have reaaly got him down whenever he heard it. But never has Marvin been close to manic.
