Excitement, I has it

So mom came to visit and we headed off into the great somewhat-known shopping center maze. As I am usually driving, I don’t always notice new stores. But as Mom drove, I noticed a new sign sharing the Tim Hortons building. It didn’t look like the usual Tim’s/Wendy’s combo location. When we pulled up to the stoplight, I got a clear look at the red sign adorning the brick. What I saw caused me inescapable joy and curiosity:

COLD STONE CREAMERY

We’re going to go for dessert later on this evening.

I wait with bated breath for the opportunity to see if the legend is the reality!

Where are you? I see we have one in Victoria. Maybe two, I can’t remember what the back-of-the-bus advert said. What’s the verdict? Worth breaking the healthy-eating vows for?

Went to CSC one time; I thought that was the nastiest tasting ice cream I ever ate. Plus a bunch of people sang at me. Blegh.

Regina.

It was really rich, in both taste and price. I had this one creation with Cake Batter ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chips, fudge and caramel and Mom had a cherry cheesecake milkshake.

It was nice ice cream, but with you being in Victoria, you probably have a bajillion other places just as nice. But they do have special smoothies with Splenda for the healthy-eating vows.

The cool part, which will probably wear off quick, is that it’s like the teppanyaki version of ice cream. They basically start with the ice cream, stack the ingredients, and then chop at it and flip it around and stuff.

They’re coming to Bangkok soon. We can’t wait to try it.

I posted on Facebook and my friend from Japan was all like ‘OMG REALLY?! WE LOVE IT IN JAPAN!’
