No confirmation, but someone on another forum claimed there’s a report that the dead suspect had a bomb vest. If so, that would explain why they stripped the other guy naked, which puzzled me.
EDIT: Overheard on a police scanner apparently.
The reporters keep saying things like “the gentleman in the white cap”, “the gentleman in the black cap”. Why keep calling them “gentleman/gentlemen”? Just “men/man” would be sufficient for them. They have already proven themselves not to be “gentlemen”.
Reports say these are foriegn terrorists. Two men known to me involved in foreign military.

Holy shit. I used to live in Watertown, off Boylston Street. Dexter, Adams, and Laurel Streets are seconds away from my old house. It’s a really nice, quiet neighborhood tucked between Mt. Auburn on the north, Arsenal to the south, and School Street to the west. I was watching the NBC newsfeed horrified to see the events unfolding.

Having lived through the LA Riots I can feel for the people locked in theirhomes; I can understand your fear. This is one of the few times when ots obviously far better to be armed than unarmed. FTR,I dont own a gun but I wish I had during the riots. Ive never felt so helpless in my life.
You know, the Brown kid looks a lot like the good pictures of White Hat. You can’t tie together everything that’s been reported tonight, but some subset of those things is probably true, and it could be the Brown kid.
Yes, this pic is doing the rounds on Twitter, as are rumours that it was a photoshop job.
Either way it’s a heartbreaking image, because it either shows this kid standing feet from his murderer, or because some sick person devoted time to creating it.
