WDHD just announced that it’s two Chechen brothers. I didn’t get they’re names. Chechen? That’s unexpected.

AP reporting the suspect is from Chechnya. If this is true that puts a very different slant on the reasons behind this whole thing. And it would also mean these men are probably Islamic fundamentalists which will make the hearts sink of any Muslims on this board.
Time will tell of course, but those are the reports.

WHDH just reported that they lived in Turkey for a period before coming to the US and have been in the US for about a year.
The kid won a city scholarship in 2011, so that can’t be right. ETA: of course, it might just be a coincidental name.

This thread is really exciting. Does anyone know, if the suspects are really related to the marathon bombings, were they flushed out, or did they have more things planned? If they were identified and located, that’s really fast.
