Just found an article saying the Mayor is recuperating from surgery on a broken leg.
Too bad he’s not missing both fucking legs.
If he’s leaving a blood trail I would have thought dogs would have picked up the scent. They had indications that he was bleeding.
the boat was just outside the perimeter - it had not been searched - they had entered a house that was nearby earlier they had spotted blood near, but apparently the suspect managed to elude them to tthat boat.
How he managed to get under a shrinkwrapped tarp is another story altogether - that’s not (generally) an easy thing to do.
I hope he recovers so he can hear what his uncle thinks about him and his brother. Losers. I’d love to hear the uncle’s reaction to his capture.

I came up with 84 Franklin street - “walking” down Franklin in Google street view, looking for the distinctive front door. Empty boat trailer in the back yard!
Didn’t White Cap escape the shootout? I never heard about his vehicle being located.

The graphic on WBZ was of 67 Franklin - the Google Maps pic shows an empty boat trailer, but the Zillow imagery shows the boat. The street view matches the other views on TV, too.
I went to a bar to get dinner, because my house was out of food and the city was on lockdown so shopping wasn’t on the menu.
Folks at the bar were buying rounds for the bar, to celebrate.
Two shots of tequila on an empty stomach, and multiple beers later, and I’m completely blitzed.

CBS has recorded police scanner transmissions. Of course, they didn’t want to broadcast them until after the suspect was captured, but they’re playing them now that it’s all over. And now they have a still picture of the arrest that has just been released. It shows them giving emergency treatment for his injuries.
That made me happy.

Wait, they SAW BLOOD and couldn’t find him with dogs? I find this very hard to believe. It would be more likely that dogs were not brought in.

Dogs were definitely brought in, but Watertown is 4 mi.², and they were focused on the house to house.
Which is why the owner went to take a look inside.

Earlier I heard it was the owner, but just now they said it was a passerby. I guess we’ll find out eventually.
Well, I imagine he’ll go to prison only for a few years and be executed for terrorism eventually. Or, if he’s (un)lucky, prison for the rest of his life. In ADX. Uncomfortably.
