Extremely stupid movies you think are hilarious

“Chicken wings!”

I don’t know many people who have seen Pootie Tang and of those who have seen it I don’t know many who liked it.
I thought it was hilarious and Wanda Sykes and Bob Costas were priceless.

Sa da tay!

Supplies! Best line in that movie. It’s unequivocally stupid, but it cracks me up just thinking about it.

Add in Hudson Hawk. The timing is wonderful.

I like to think of it as the movie The DaVinci Code should have been trying to be. It would have failed, of course, but it would have been a better movie.

All of it tacked onto a plot about a couple of beer-drinking, hockey-loving Canadians, and based on Hamlet. Plus it has an intermission (I think it’s 13 seconds long.)

It’s one of my alltime favorite movies.

I had to smile when I saw that on your list. It was one of my father’s two favorite movies. He just loved having it on VHS and being able to watch it whenever he wanted through the marvels of modern technology. Sometimes I’d go over and watch it with him, and we’d both be busting a gut. Who’d a thunk it…my dad, born in the 20’s, a Ringo Starr fan. “Say, he’s one of those Beatles fellas, isn’t he? Yeah, Dad, the drummer, but the band split up a while back.”

It’s gotta be Crank. Man, I just love that movie, and I’m under no illusions that its in any way clever.

I just simpy can’t wait for the sequel!

Some of my favourites have already been mentioned–Dumb & Dumber, Wayne’s World–and I’ll add Blades of Glory. Incredibly stupid and gross, yet I laughed my butt off (alas, not literally).

Okay, I am hesitant to post this one because so many people on the board have said how much they hate it, but I will post mine anyway.

The Sweetest Thing

It is hilarious! It may be gross and stupid, yes, but every time I see it I laugh my ass off.

You know, I saw the ‘Your Penis’ song on YouTube and it was fairly disturbing because I’ve heard some of those phrases.

Zoolander- “You can derelict my balls, capi-tan.”

**Tommy Boy ** - I hated it the first time I saw it, but all these years it just keeps getting funnier and funnier.

PCU WE’RE NOT GONNA PROTEST! WE’RE NOT GONNA PROTEST!

The Jerk You mean I’m gonna stay this color?!

Hudson Hawk Bunny, ball ball.

Thirding (fourthing?) Tommy Boy, which also had a kick-ass soundtrack for the time.

“Does this suit make me look fat?”
“No no no, your face does.”

+1 for Shakes the Clown

Someone else already mentioned Hudson Hawk, but since that was gonna be my pick I’ll just chime in with them. Loved that movie. Everyone else I know hates it, but it’s not their fault that they don’t know better  I mean, c’mon. Every single thing about the “Butterfingers” character is just spectacular…

Of course, I loved most of the films that people mentioned here, so take my advice on movies at your own peril.

Big clumsy brute: Hi, I’m butterfingers.
Hudson Hawk: No shit.

I watch" Idiocracy "every time I can. I like it. Can’t get much dumber than that movie.

Hot Rod
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
Shaolin Soccer
Kung Fu Hustle
Dodgeball
Borat
Death To Smoochie

A friend and I have watched it several times when it happens to be on TV and we both need a good laugh. I recently added it to my Netflix queue because we’re sure there are things that are cut for broadcast. I suspect that I may end up buying a copy eventually.

I love those movies!

Also, Super Troopers and Walk Hard.

ETA: And Dodgeball!

I love all these movies but Dude, Where’s my Car? is a classic.

Dude 1: “Dude, where’s my car?”
Dude 2: “Where’s your car dude?”
Dude 1: “Dude, where’s my car?”
Dude 2: “Where’s your car dude?”
Dude 1: “Dude, where’s my car?”
Dude 2: “Where’s your car dude?”

After getting tattoos on their backs. One says, “Sweet” the other one says “Dude”

Dude 1: Dude, what does my tattoo say?
Dude 2: Sweet! What does mine say?
Dude 1: Dude! What does mine say?
Dude 2: Sweet! What does mine say?
Dude 1: Dude! What does mine say?
Dude 2: Sweet! What does mine say?
Dude 1: Dude! What does mine say?
Dude 2: Sweet! What does mine say?
