For purposes of this question, pretend that you’re single and available, etc…
Okay: Let’s say this absolutely stunning person (male or female, depending on your orientation) walked up to you in a bar…which would be more arousing to you (or less offensive…) or which would you rather/prefer have them say to you:
“Take me home and fuck me.”
“I want to take you home and fuck you.”
Please choose either 1 or 2, explain why or how strongly you feel about either one.
For me, if a gorgeous woman walked up to me and said, “Take me home and fuck me” - I’d about pass out. I’d love it. But if she said she wanted to fuck ME - I’d damn near roll my eyes and it wouldn’t do a darn thing for me. I think I have control issues that are contributing to my response.
I think I’d have the opposite response to you. I’m not particularly passive, but the idea of someone taking the lead to get what they want (when it involves me, that is) is a lot more attractive.
Of course, if a stunner came up to me in a bar and said either of those things, the first thing I’d do is punch whichever one of my friends paid her.
Female, straight and I’ll take option 2. Option one isn’t too far behind and I have to be in an odd mood to take either one, but the second has more of a chance.
But I’m also a sexual submissive, so that might have something to do with it.
Well, if she used those exact words (Yep, I’m envisioning this as a stunning woman for my personal preference), I would have to go for number 1, since number two has me envisioning her coming into the bedroom wearing a strap-on and that’s not my cup of tea.
Now if you modify the language to…
“Take me home and make love to me.”
“I want to take you home and make love to you.”
I actually find number 2 to be more powerful and erotic.
“Take me home and have sex with me.”
“I want to take you home and have sex with you.”
Number 2 still gets my vote.

I think “Take me home and have sex with me” sounds…weird. Like you’re trying to have a baby and have been trying for weeks. Like, “Oooh, I’m ovulating! Take me home and have sex with me.” (Not that this is really terribly relevant, considering that I’m a lesbian…but that’s beside the point!)
“Take me home and make love to me” isn’t bad - I choose that over #2, as well.
Like Dublos, some can’t get past the rough language so definitely use the Dublos options if this is you. I can definitely understand that point.
How bizarre is this . . . a day and a half after my roommate asks me for sex, and I’m responding to this thread.
I can think of one person I’d let fuck me. I can think of one person I’d fuck. Both are powerful phrases. But with this person I think the “I want to take you home and fuck you” works better. I’m still a shy 'un. However, one look from her the right way and I’d be putty.
Number two makes me sweaty just thinking about it. I would hope that the guy would be a little growly about it, maybe pull my hair or hiss it in my ear.

I don’t think you can get around the fact that “to fuck” tends to refer to penetrating and “to be fucked” to being penetrated. Not necessarily, but there’s an association (hence dublos’s reference to strap-ons). So in heteosexual couplings it’s usually the woman getting fucked…
(and why I kind of hate “fuck you” -and “blow me”, and “up yours”- being used as an insult. I like Lenny Bruce’s idea- that “unfuck you” would be crueler thing to say.)
So that might influence my choice but I think #2 sounds better, the same way “I want to take you home and cook you dinner” sound more appealing that “Take me home and cook me dinner”, even if when you get there your all too happy to chop the vegetables, make the salad and uncork the wine. So to speak.
I gotta go with #1 because my sink is full of dishes and I have two hampers of clean clothes waiting in vain to be put away, along with just a cluttered house
BUT…I wouldn’t do it IRL…
It would have to be someone I knew and was attracted to. I just can’t see myself doing the one night stand thing with a stranger.
I’d have to go with #2 myself… Typically because in my experience, the man is typically the aggressor sexually, and it’s such a turn-on to have the roles reversed.
