Has anyone else noticed the amount of sponsored posts in their newsfeed increased greatly in the past week? I feel like every third item in my newsfeed right now is a sponsored post for some site or facebook page.
I"m guessing you have AdBlock Plus or similar. AdBlock used to hide the “sponsored posts” on Facebook, but last week Facebook made a change so they are no longer blocked. Updating the filter list in AdBlocker should clean it up again, but it’s a cat and mouse game.
I’ve never used an ad blocker and I’ve noticed a surge in sponsored content very recently.
