Brian’s back; in exactly the same manner everyone was predicting. 
I have to say that even though you could see it coming a mile away I really enjoyed the Home Alone parody. I hated those stupid movies and that stupid kid and have been so wanting to see just that!
And for me the funniest joke was simply when Carter was in his office and he looks out at his Mexican window washer, pauses, and then for no reason just gives him the finger. 
I missed the episode where Brian died, and this is the first one I watched since then. That new idiot dog drove me so nuts I changed the channel after 7 minutes. Guess maybe it’s worth trying it again?
I liked how everything Peter did failed, until the instant he told Carter it was making him look Jewish. Cue the over-the-top Christmas & Jesus stuff. I wasn’t too warm on Vinny, but I kinda hop Seth throws a background gag in a future episode to confirm he was still adopted & not put to sleep.
They even changed the intro for the new dog… I thought I’d never see Brian again…
“Stew S. A.!” indeed.
