One of the previews they showed over and over and over for the recent Bad News Bears movie with Billy Bob Thorton had a Helen Keller joke that escapes me at the moment- could this be what you’re thinking of?
No, because I wouldn’t have paid any attention to a preview for that… Thanks, though.
Now that I’m thinking more about it, I wonder if I just saw a Family Guy preview that had that joke in it (albeit, shorter – without Stewie saying Marco so many times). Anybody remember if this joke “playing Marco Polo with Helen Keller” was actually in any of the “new season of Family Guy” previews?

Whoops, thanks. Overlooked that. I swore I’d seen that gag before. My poor addled aging brain was overloading…
Thanks to the genius of James Woods, I think this is easily one of the better ones they’ve done.
Stewie’s “Where’s my money!” was the funniest. Someone’s gotta make a tshirt of that.
While the use of James Woods was excellent (especially since the high school has always been called “James Woods Regional High School”: it’s not something they just made up for the purposes of the episode), I hope they don’t get into the habit of shoehorning in pointless guest stars like The Simpsons has.
My PVR decided to go batty on Sunday and didn’t record FG or AD. If I’m reading right, they’ll be repeat on Adult Swim next Thursday?
When did the school get renamed from Buddy Cianci to James Woods?
I think Buddy Cianci is the Junior High that Chris attends. They may use the same exterior shot for both schools.
So what did we think of the trailer for the Stewie movie? I’m trrying to figure out how Lois doing a striptease (or whatever it was) in front of a couple of guys in their living room comes about.
Anyone know exactly HOW uncensored it is going to be?
Will it be South Park the Movie uncensored of pre-Janet Jackson uncensored?
I’ve seen part of it. It didn’t strike me as being any more crude than what they normally broadcast, but I wasn’t specifically paying attention for that kind of thing.
The Junior High, where Chris goes, is named after Buddy Cianci.
Just for clarification, AD, as in Arrested Development, wll be premiering next Monday. AD, as in American Dad, I don’t really care about so I have nothing more to say.
I’d totally forgotten the bit with Stewie and the hookers. Especially since it came right in the middle of his talking with Brian. It’s so good!
It will have all the swearing you expect from a straight-to-DVD production.
And none of the nudity. Just lotsa bleeps.
However, “Quagmire’s Cross Country Tour” is something I don’t think they could have gotten away with on TV, bleeps or no bleeps.
-Joe, bleep!
Is it wrong that I am disappointed that we don’t get full frontal Lois?
Maybe we run with different crowds, but the me the term “techical virgin” always just meant a someone who’s done something sexual but not “real sex”. It could be anything.
And somehow I don’t think Fox would slip an anal sex joke into an 8:30 show. I think this might be a case of them hoping a few people read WAY more into it than what they meant and think it’s really edgy.
