Famous schoolmates

Some Aussie footy fans might have heard of a Kris Massey. I think he plays for St Kilda, or some other Melbourne-based team.

Anyhoo, I went to school with him in Melbourne. He was 2 years above me and was your typical meat-head jock who all of the girls worshipped and idolised. I was the only girl who actually frequently bullied him.

God he was a tosser.

I used to ban… umm… sleep… umm… be close friends with Robyn Bernard from General Hospital, Crystal’s sister. Crystal was okay but she was kinda snooty.

A gal pal from HS married Don Henley.

Also, Dr. Milo T. Pinkerton from here:

used to be my best friend in grades 1 through 3. Imagine my surprise at discovering where he is now. No, that isn’t his real name.

Palisades High - Pacific Palisades, California.

In my graduating class:

** Susanna Hoffs**, lead singer of the Bangles.

Kiki Vandeweghe, former NBA player, now management with the Denver Nuggets.

Teresa Laughlin, daughter of Tom Laughlin of Billy Jack fame, she was also in the movie, playing guitar and singing.

Carol Chaikin, jazz flautist extraordanaire.

Sandra Kinsler, founder and editor of Woman Motorist magazine.

Also attending Palisades when I was there:

Amy Alcott, LPGA star player.

Amelia Linden, daughter of Hal Linden (Barney Miller).

And I’m sure there are many others that I missed - Pacific Palisades is a movie star community, and many kids of famous people went to Palisades High.

That kid Ethan Zohn (who won Survivor) was a senior when I was a freshman…

Also, an old friend Alex Chansky, though arguably famous, did stunt work for some movies including the new Spider-Man…

I went to high school with Jayne Kennedy (Miss Ohio 1970, actress), but I doubt she remembers me since I was a lowly sophomore the year she was a senior.
