It’s almost a toss up. I think bush has a higher ceiling, but he’s also got more risk. Torry Holt should be steadier, but with the Jaguars, who the fuck knows what’s going to happen? At least the Saints will be moving the ball.
Seems to be healthy, but I can’t find a definite word.
As for his fantasy outlook (if injury status is good), he just might bump up. Consider: Houston is pass happy, could be playing from behind all day, their sure handed TE is out, Andre gets the better coverage, KW is the #2 WR after all …
Of course, with my luck at posting outlooks, Slaton and Moats will rush for 300 yds, dominating the clock, and Indy will never get closer in score than at the opening kickoff.
So, there’s my opinion. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll make your own.
What’s the latest on Slaton/Moats? Which should I start?
I managed to pick up Moats (in addition to Slaton), but what’s he like as a receiver? It’s a PPR league so catches out of the backfield are important. I figure Houston should be behind for most of the game so RB catches could be huge.
Or should I stay away from the whole Slaton/Moats mess and just start Pierre Thomas?
Boldin is almost certainly going to sit this week because his ankle isn’t healing because he keeps practicing and playing on it. Steve Smith and Kevin Walter- he’s going to be huge with Daniels out.
Do you get points for PR/KR yardage? If so, Bush. If not… well, still Bush, actually. Holt hasn’t done jack all year.
My current QBs are Warner and Hasselback. I can trade for Romo. He wants a WR and RB. My WRs are listed above in an earlier post. My RBs are Gore, LT, Lynch, Moreno, Caddilac and Sproles. I’m ready to give up on LT (if he has any value left…)
A. Do you think Romo is an upgrade for me at QB?
B. Is it silly for me to offer LT and Boldin? Their production has been bad enough that I’m confused as to their value… Not sure if it’s too little or too much to offer.
ETA: Somehow I’m 6 - 2 and looking to bolster myself for a playoff run.
I strongly think Boldin will sit. Win or lose, the Cards schedule gets a lot easier after the Chicago game. Get Boldin healthy for the later part of the year and the Cards will easily win the NFC West again and get into the playoffs. The Cards have 2 games remaining against the Rams and a game against the Lions. There is also a game at home against the struggling Seahawks.
No way risk losing Boldin for the Season when the Cards have an excellent shot to get back to the playoffs.
