Farewell Londope - Tir' moves over to her Twisty in April!

Aha! our intentions are good, as always. Beer! oh, and the dont sound good bit above was to the previous post, rather than youre both fine etc.

Good to hear, pal.

Anyone remember the first few days of living with a bird . . . I tell ya, it’s all downhill soon; doomed, I say DOOMED !
Good luck, fella. Glad alls well.

Glad to hear you’re both together, whatever the circumstances!

we’ll raise a glass in your absence.

Looks like some room booking to do, rather hurried and a bit short notice but I’ll give it a go.

sleep in the reliant!

Wouldn’t that be a bit like sleeping in a hammock?

doubt you could hook up a hammock in tyhe back of a reliant.

Oi!

Behave yourselves you 'orrible 'orrible lot.
Here’s where I’m stopping at.

Easy for the trains innit.

Glad you’re together you two!! Tir has my number should you need it - see you both (and the apartment - can’t wait!) on the Monday after Emofkuniv is over. Hope Tir gets a good sleep. Take care you two

Well, congrtulations on moving in together! Sorry you won’t be at the Londope, though. We’ll all just have to come to your place instead. Hope you’ve got plenty of sleeping room (and a good insurance policy :D)

Ressurection!

I shout this back up as we’re having a problem deciding where to go after the Chandos.
(recap:12.30 there. across the road from the national portrait gallery)
my suggestion is move up to Soho, stopping at various places. any thoughts kids?
4.5 days to decide/comply.

Personally, I’m not too fussed, so long as it does decent beer.

There’s also the food issue. A pub which does decent food might be useful - I know that the Chandos does do food, and its fairly good, so that’s the afternoon sorted. Anyone got any ideas for the evening though?

My bus doesn’t get in till 2.30 (yay! Megabus.com!) so don’t stray too far kids!

Angua , my Irish grandma who lives her whole life as if rationing/the next potato famine is just around the corner is the only other person I know who’s as obsessed with food as you are. Can’t we just go for a pizza or curry or summat like that?

The only reason I emphasise that going for food is useful is because I’m diabetic. Alcohol and no food will do very very strange things to me, and its not pleasant at all, believe me.

Also, do you know how bloody hard it is to get a table for many in a restaurant on a Saturday night in London without having pre-booked?

Oh ok, didn’t realise, sorry.

And er, no, I don’t, not having spent much time in London.

That’s OK. You just really really don’t want me going into an alcohol fuelled diabetic episode. And neither does anyone else.

Bloody difficult pretty much sums it up. Even getting a table for two is an absolute nightmare.

Well I can get a table anywhere at any time, like a Goodfella. They just take me and my date/party in through the kitchens and shufty a table in next to the entertainment.
Don’t worry about timing Jen. it’ll be at least 5.30-6pm before we move along i reckons. time for folks to get there, if last time was anything to go by.

the problem is that, it being a Saturday, we’ll need to be firmly cemented in a Pub by 18:00 or we won’t get a seating area.

I don’t mind playing vanguard if people need to dive off out for food, but there are limits to that - sitting at a table with 8 or 9 empty chairs in a full pub ain’t likely to make me any friends.
