Favorite brand of Ginger Ale

Ale 8 is indeed awesome but is not, to my knowledge, a true ginger ale. It has other flavorants and is labeled as a soft drink, rather than a ginger ale. And most people I know don’t drink them interchangeably but rather treat them as two completely separate beverage entities.

It has to be Buffalo Rock. Mostly because Kist no longer makes its golden ginger ale.

Red Rock Golden Ginger Ale

Yep, cane sugar, om nom nom. Never seen a diet version though. Although a bigger ginger beer fan, for ale, BlueSky has some good bite. In an emergency situation it can make an OK dark and stormy.

Vernor’s is pretty expensive, unless those web prices are inflated. Does it typically cost that much ~$1.50 a can?

Canada Dry uses real ginger.

And no phosphoric acid preservatives.

Sounds good to me.
