I love the old Warner Bros classics. Especially Daffy Duck cartoons. My all time favorite shorts are “Duck Amok” and the ones with Bugs, Daffy, and Elmer (“Duck Season!” “Rabbit Season!” and “Do you want to shoot him now or wait till you get home?” “Shoot me now! Shoot me now!”)
Cracks me up every time.
I don’t watch many of the newer cartoons, and the last cartoon I recall watching regularly was The Animaniacs.
Well, drastic times call for drastic measures. In this case, the “drastic times” are Christine Cavanaugh’s retirement from the voice actressessessing biz.
There’s a new season of the show going on now, and I think the quality of the animation (and plots) is just as good as the earlier years (although the experimental return season did have its highlights-I loved when Dexter accidentially made himself Dee Dee’s foot).
Invader ZIM (shut your noise tube)
Futurama (bite my shiny metal ass)
The Simpsons (d’oh!)
Hey Arnold! (move it, football head)
King of the Hill (pocket sand!)
Spongbob Squarepants (Springboob Squirepin)
I haven’t seen the Brak Show (no cable), but I really, really liked Brak on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. “Naa nana nanana NA nanana NA! DON’T TOUCH ME!”
Patric & SB --13 words never said : (dolphin clicks & squeals)
2 stupid dogs - no matter what the big one eats— he always pukes an ear of corn with the holders
Witch Hazel and her flying bobby pins.
Mamma Bear to Bugs-- " tElL Me mORe aBoUt My eYeS~~~ "
I’m sorry… The “Ham Hams” need to find all the rat traps set by Tom for Jerry.
Does any one remember “Tom Terrific” from Captain Kangaroo ?
OR the “newer” Popeye cartoons( probably made in the early 60’s)
with “Alice the Goon”—(all she could say was-- “rha-rha-, ra-ruh”) Errrrrrrrr… those cheap versions used to embarrass me to the point of cold chills.
I wish they would play them now !
The Simpsons
The Critic
Futurama
Family Guy
Pinky and the Brain
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
I like what I’ve seen from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law as well.
I don’t think King of the Hill is funny, but I think it’s very good anyway.
The fact that Futurama and Family Guy are now on Cartoon Network pretty much justifies the channel’s existence.
Batman: TAS
90’s X-Men
Fleischer Superman
Animaniacs
Futurama
Family Guy
Eek The Cat (really, really wish someone would show this again)
Thundercats (if only for Mumm-Ra’s voice, really)
G Gundam (some of the Gundams are just hillarious)
I’d also like to throw in that I will change the channel to watch Johnny Bravo when I notice it’s on. I’ve only caught a couple episodes, but Johnny spouted one of my favorite pick-up lines (paraphrasing) - “You’re the perfect woman. You’re beautiful and smell like balogna.”
