I can’t get enough of The Daily Show . The correspondents just slay me!
I had trouble with who I’d list as my fave but in the end I went with:
Mo Rocca
I have such a crush on him (don’t ask).
Steven Colbert
This was a very close second.
Steve Carell
Rob Corddry
Ed Helms
I love Louis Black but he’s not a correspondent. At least I don’t think he is.
And you?

Stephen Colbert…mmmmmm!
He just looks like he smells good. Like soap and clean clothes and…a man scent.

Oh! Did you mean as a correspondent? Colbert, then the other men are basically a tie. The blonde chick annoys me.
Rob Corddry is really growing on me. he’s such a doofus. But my favorites are the Steves - Carrell and then Colbert.
I’m starting to really like Ed Helms. Especially after seeing last night’s mime act. Colbert is my favorite, though.
I miss Beth Littleford and her exaggerated soft-filter shots.
Colbert seems to be the most versatile. I haven’t seen Mo Rocca lately, so not sure he’s even still on. And the woman (they don’t get much airtime) who did the buffalo hunting piece in the last couple of weeks was pretty good. (She was a brunette, not blonde a35362 )
Steven Colbert can do the “deadpan journalist” thing perfectly.
Steve Carrell is good at dong “characters” like the grocer guy or the featurettes. Unfortuately the “Even Steven” bit is pretty well played out.
Ed Helms I’m still ambivalent on. Is Mo Rocca even still on the show?
Rob Corddry is kind of uneven. Sometimes he’s a scream, other times he’s just not funny.
I’m also undecided on the women. However, “We Love Showbiz” isn’t the same without the real-life married team of Steve Carrell and Nancy Walls.
For anyone who missed it, The Onion’s A.V. Club had a wonderful interview with Stephen Colbert, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms and Mo Rocca.
I get a huge kick out of Steve Carell. He’s such a goof, and you know he’s having an absolute blast. I like them all, but he tends to be my favorite.
Steve notColbert (that’s what I called Carell until I finally committed his name to memory) did this bit where he harassed the toll collectors on the turnpike because they wouldn’t say thank you. He put on this wig and, well, I guess you had to be there.
It was a scream!
Truth be told, Stephen Colbert is the best but, like I said in the OP, I’ve a crush on Mo. And that’s my Mopinion >snicker<.
For what it’s worth, Rocca is listed as a Daily Show correspondent at the Comedy Central website. Nancy Wall is listed too.
He’s not a correspondant, but Jon Stewart makes me think dirty things.
Well, dirtier .
As for correspondants…[orgasmic breathy scream]MO ROCCA!![/obs]
ahem I’m sorry, but it’s the geeky glasses and the haircut. I want him so badly…
JuanitaTech , you beat me to the mopinion joke! Curses!

Stephen Colbert is my favorite, since he just has this deadpan thing to him that makes everything he says in his interviews funny. Not only that, he founded the Faith-Based Faith of Stephen With A “PH.”
Don’t forget about that nasal-y voice…
Ahhh…I have found my people! Stephen Colbert all the way.
Frank de Caro is awfully cute, too. Is he still around?
Colbert went to my alma mater Northwestern! Go U NU!
If I tell you that there are 300 or so Daily Show clips , do you promise you won’t go there until after work?
