Interesting that instead of addressing his complaint to the Special Prosecutor, he went to his boss.
Like a Karen demanding to speak to the manager.

That is one odd letter. While, on the face of it, it appears to be requesting a meeting between two of Trumps lawyers and the AG, it obviously has some other unexpressed purpose.
The mention of “President Biden, his son Hunter, and the Biden family” is completely irrelevant to the purported reason for the letter. That is, a request for a meeting to discuss issues they have with the way Special Counsel is conducting the investigation of Trump. They refer to the investigation as being baseless, outrageous, and unlawful. These seem to only be an attempt to anger the principle recipient, Merrick Garland. I am not a lawyer, but it seems to me that if you are asking for a favor from the US AG, you don’t start off by pissing him off.
What MulderMuffin did not include in his transcription of the letter is the cc: list after the signatures of John Rowley and James Trusty (Trump’s lawyers). That list is “Representatives of Congress” and “Todd Blanche.” Now, Todd Blanche is the lead lawyer on Trump’s team on Bragg’s NY criminal trial. But, what does Representatives of Congress refer to? All members of the US House of Representatives? Perhaps only certain lobbyists that represent certain Senators and Congressmen?
I don’t think the letter is an honest attempt to arrange for a meeting, at all. It seems to be written more for Trump’s base supporters. Perhaps so they can get their base to believe that Trump’s team did everything they could to work with the “weaponized DOJ” who simply refused to work with them. So Unfair!
Bingo. It’s red meat for the red states. It’s all they can do, because there’s no real legal defense. I suspect they know that they have Trump dead to rights.
Jack has too much on trump for them to think they can bargain. They should be negotiating which palatial estate will be his home confinement.
nevermind.
This is such a weird line. My WAG is that a relatively cool head prevailed at the very last minute, and it was originally something like:
"Unlike Biden et al, who are getting away with treason and murder and destroying our country and smelling bad, President Trump is being treated unfairly. "
The letter is obviously going to the base, but it’s (nominally) also going to the AG. So something particularly egregious was struck out and the sentence wasn’t proofed after.
I doubt Garland even got the letter. PAB was too cheap to put a stamp on it.
My WAG is that it originally showcased “entire” between “the” and “Biden” — and “crime” between “Biden” and “family”.
Yep, he was too cheap to mail it. It was delivered by courier. “Hey, while you’re on your way to the grocery store would you mind dropping this off?” Lol
[Narrator] He dictated that.
i’m betting the representative(s) of congress are the republican members of that… um… that… (adjective, possible obscene gerund) subcommittee.
You little (anatomically explicit epithet)!
Yeah, there’s no way a lawyer wrote that.
There’s no way a person with a grasp of writing equivalent to a High School Sophomore wrote that sentence.
I wonder if Garland will answer?
My dream outcome is that he’s convicted of a capital offense, but Biden commutes his sentence to life without parole.
I’d be okay with home incarceration at Mar-A-Lago (with a prohibition on golfing), with a ban on social media.
I’m picturing those movies where the prisoners are chained together breaking big rocks into smaller locks.
Hey Trump – want to build that wall? do it yourself! here is a big rock and a pick. Break the big rock into little rocks, transport them a mile to the border (MAYBE you will given a wheelbarrow) and pile them up!
Or, write “I will not subvert the electoral process - I lost fair and square” 1,000,000 times in your own blood.
Cruel? Usual? he wouldn’t consider it so if it was someone else…
Brian
(I can dream)
[Edit mine to fix typo]
As dad used to say, ‘Making little ones out of big ones.’
And then he violates one (or more) of the rules and gets hauled off to actual prison.
