Field of Daisies (a Harnic RPG)

Brunis is the closest to it anyway. And it’s hiding, and blocking a poor exit.

The room is risky to get around. Changing positions risks falling down the hole, which is certain to result in bad musculal-skeletal health.

You can explore this chamber more, but you’ve seen most everything.

You can go clockwise to passage A, which is the crawly passage back to the bat cave. The other critter lurks there.

You can go around the chamber, either way, to unexplored passage B.

You can go counter-clockwise to unexplored passage C, where the critters came from.

You can scale the wall back into passage D, which is to your backs, and go back into the bat cave.

For all but the last option, walking in this room risks falling. Counter-clockwise to passage C offers the most sure footing.

I vote for B first, then maybe C.

Ingmar will be goink towards the closest passage near Ingmar

(since he is at the back of the group).

“We don’t want to be attacked from behind so I think we need to follow that tunnel back to where these creatures came from. With all of the copper here I wonder if this used to be a mine, I wonder where the haunted reputation came from?”

At least one is out and hiding. Do they look determined to get us, or like they were spooked when they thought we were coming at them?

I’m with Symon - stands to reason that there’s something where those things came from, and it’s our safest path to further exploration, at least.

In the meantime, I’d like to check out the walls around us a little bit more. Any other carvings or anything? Seems like a strange setup for a place that would have been a mine.

They were displaying hunting behavior.

That one carving is the only evidence you see of any humanoid presence here.

OK. I’m up for rooting them out, then. Until we start moving, I’m keeping my eye on Mr. Hidey.

Yeah, C is probably our best bet. We’ll probably fare better against those things then we will against falling down the hole. And we can’t very well leave without knowing what happened to the child, so D is pretty much out.

We do want to have one of us guard the back, in case our cowering “friend” decides to get all brave again.

Maybe our most agile should head over to C first with the rope, establish as firm a foothold as possible, and help the rest of us that way?

Or maybe at least two of us should go in case the comboviraptors show up again?

“I’m probably our most agile so I’ll go and lay the rope”

Symon heads up to the wall around slowly makes his way around the cave until he gets to the tunnel the critters came from leaving rope behind him for everyone one else to use as a hand hold. One of the strong guys can anchor the other end and He’ll hold his until someone stronger comes along.

Done, and with extreme ease.

I will follow, follow.

OK, two of you are now near tunnel C.

Ingmar will guard the rear, keeping on eye on those Raptors… He wants one to be his pet badly.
“Anyone thinkink of ways I can make him love me? Bork bork bork? Maybe if Ingmar had those shroomies…” Ingmar will try to communicate with them again, whistling and hooting and whatever other noises they be makink.

Does Ingmar or anyone have any scraps of food to feed them?

Ingmar will just try to feed them pieces of the dead one… However morbid that sounds. Hopefully they were not related.

You do have some food. Are you going to try to tempt it over?

Ingmar, why are you doing that?
Seriously. It tried to eat your head.

“No, that one didn’t try to eat his head.”

I’ll make any preparations I need for my healing spell, in case I happen to need it soon.
