You make your way back to the chimney thing where you’ll have to climb down. Taking a look first, the other dino-critter is at the bottom of it. It then runs away.
That’s not all. Eren, you get the distinct impression that you are being followed.
Is the chimney short enough to drop down? That would be quicker than climbing.
It’s about 5 feet down, so it’s a pretty easy jump.
I’ll toss the chest down once someone else is below (besides who ever is guarding against the critter) then jump myself.
